To the UK and the US we ship DAP: the buyer pays import duty, VAT and the carrier's handling fee on delivery. Guide UK: 20% VAT plus 4% duty on value and freight. US: 15% on EU-origin car parts plus brokerage. The invoice states part number, HS code, origin and value.
Engines are drained and bolted to a frame or pallet; gearboxes drained and capped. Seats with airbags or pretensioners never ship as parcels.
